The relationship between D’banj and rapper Olamide is getting stronger by the day. The New Bestfriend have now taken their friendship to Atlanta, US, Olamide may be considering signing to D’Banj’s DB Records soon. More after the cut..



They traveled over the weekend to Houston for a Monday, May 5 ‘The Wipe Out‘ concert featuring Ikechukwu, Naeto C, Sinzu and others. The concert was however cancelled with promoters promising it will hold on Thursday, May 9, 2013. D’banj’s hype man Special Ed who was in Miami is also now in Houston hanging with the crew.

Since the Kokomaster, D’banj, made a public confession that he’s still single and looking for a good woman to make his wife, we reliably gathered that actress Genevieve Nnaji has been making frantic efforts to get back into the arms of the super star.
A source, who is an insider in D’banj’s camp, said Genevieve and D’banj never really had a quarrel but that she was complaining too much because of the many ladies around him.D’banj, he said, got tired of her drama and simply ignored her. Now she wants to come back by all means…
Genny just clocked 34 and its obvious she can’t just settle with any guy from the street corner; her man has to be someone with some level of class. The source said she made contacts with D’banj at least three times in the last days of April but D’banj is still having some reservations.
One of his concerns, the source told Olufamous.com, is that Genny is too nosy and always wants to know everything about her partner. D’banj is the cool type who doesn’t like talking too much so he’s kind of having a hard time accepting her back, even though he sureneeds a woman now.
There is also the issue of age difference, D’banj will be 33 in June but Genevieve is already 34. She is said to playing the card of ‘age is just a number’ but D’banj is still taking his time, as the handsome groom.

Bad news for the ladies; D’banj, the superstar entertainer who’s fond of boasting about his sexual prowess is off the market.

Shocking, right? Especially coming barely weeks after he released a new single titled ‘Bachelor‘.

Dapo Oyebanjo has come out to say anyone expecting him to be single at this stage, must be joking. The hit-maker told guests during a live interview at the Tymeout With Tee A concert on December 1, that he’s definitely ‘occupied,’ to the disbelief of several prospects.

‘Even when I tell them I’m single’, they don’t believe. So these days, I tell them what they want to hear. I mean look at me, at my state, would you expect that I won’t be seeing anyone?‘ He asked in rhetoric.

Linked to many women in the past, D’banj is one of Nigeria’s most eligible bachelors. Those close to him tell us what he said at Tee A‘s event is ‘definitely not far from the truth.’

‘Of course he’s dating. He’s a successful young man with many ladies interested in him. And he’s definitely dating. So it’s right if he says he’s not single. What no one knows is how serious these things are. And for sure, I can tell you that there are no wedding plans anywhere yet‘, one insider squealed to NET over the weekend.

Now 31, D’banj sits comfortably in the millionaires club, and with coming projects already revealed, it’s certain he’ll continue to play in the league for some time.

And no – he didn’t mention names. He didn’t talk about Genevieve either. In fact he was delighted when interviewer Tee A dropped the Genevieve question and moved on to other things…

Why D’banj and Genevieve Nnaji Broke Up

Some of you think the relationship between D’banj and Genevieve Nnaji was a publicity stunt…it wasn’t! The sexy stars dated off and on between 2009 and early 2012. D’banj recently opened up to Toolz on the Juice about his relationship with Ms Nnaji and said he doesn’t know who dumped who.

“Genevieve was a friend…(but now) I haven’t seen her…I don’t know who dumped who.

One could tell for certain that Genevieve did the dumping. Not necessarily because she wanted to, but because she had no choice. There were just too many women around D’banj. It seemed at a point, a lot of women wanted a piece of the Kokomaster, including a close friend of the actress who allegedly began an affair with D’banj behind her back. Genny decided she’d had enough and ended things in late 2011.
Genevieve and D’banj briefly reconciled in early 2012, but ended things for good after D’banj started flaunting his relationship with Ghanian actress, Nadia Buari.
